THE AUTHOR

Élysée K. Mani is an Australian bestselling author, writer, poet, philosopher, artist, and humanitarian. Her passion for storytelling and art was evident from a very young age as she delve into the world of art and literature. She first began writing at only five years of age. She later immersed herself deeply into her writing at age twelve when she discovered that poetry could be used as a powerful language to empower herself, and others to overcome difficult life experiences.

An avid storyteller, Élysée has a background in theatre, arts, literature and languages. But above all, she is a curious author who loves exploring different themes and motifs. As part of her writing process, Élysée loves immersing herself in her projects diving headfirst into the creativity process to produce fine poems and literary essays, which she feels are most worthy of telling and sharing. She draws inspirations from her own life experiences to connect with her readers intimately. Throughout the years Élysée has refined her craft of storytelling, making her more aware of the different core disciplines of the art of poetry. She is a daring writer who isn't afraid to address bold themes such as displacement, heartbreak, abuse, grief, and trauma. But most importantly, she finds fulfillment in giving her readers hope by exploring the themes of healing and growth in her writing. Élysée's ability to convey intense emotion in short and compact poems, classifying her work with that of classical poets and philosophers.
